Jackpine Riders was originally founded in 1968 under the name of Solon Springs snowmobile club. The name has since been changed to Jackpine Riders snowmobile/ATV club to avoid the misconception that the club was for Solon Springs residents only.and to add ATV riding and riders.
Jackpine Riders Maintains over 96 miles of Douglas County State trails used by Snowmobiles and ATV's. We build and repair bridges, maintain trails and roadway beds along with sign/marker repair and replacement. We remove fallen trees, brush, rock and other debris.
We also have fun. We ride, we socialize, we raise money for charities, we take trips, go camping, hold fund raisers, and help with community projects. Jackpine Riders snowmobile/ATV club has something for everyone.
We are a non profit organization and all time spent doing the work done by Jackpine Riders is on a volunteer basis only, in other words none of us get paid. We do it because we care, and know that by supporting Jackpine Riders we are helping to keep the sport as strong as it is by providing good trails, a strong community and having fun by being with people who enjoy and understand the fundamentals of safe riding and club fellowship.
